Project outline

This project will look at the idea of the ‘Univer-city’. A University can be defined as a ‘knowledge society’, a community within which knowledge is shared, disseminated & discussed. A development within this problematic of a specific urban and architectural question, that aims to rethink the relationship between education and society, university and city, university and student.

Thesis

Urban Scale

Relate to urban context by introducing public talks and events that raise awareness about architecture to a large community.

Architectural Scale

A school of architecture behaves like an island, where students live and work in a space that is very different from the rest of the university.
